Sometimes I try to make the words and letters easy to read. Other times I try hard to make it confusing - so you have to look and work it out to see it properly.

Chet is wound through the AlbaKnot with Pat in a unified LoveKnot - in love and devotion.

Each LoveKnot can take just over two days to complete. It is my sweetest sorrow to see them packed up and ready to deliver.

Like many from the Gaelic nations, I was born with a mass of red hair. Popping freckles as soon as the sun came out. My mum and daughter too.

I loved having red hair back in the day. Tis why I got the name Rustie!

I love playing with the letters.

From an early age I was fascinated by typefaces, typography, typesetting and the printing press. I love breaking the rules of typography. I love messing with letters. Some big. Some small.

Intertwining letters is
very fun for me.

I like my LoveKnot knots to be green - as it represents nature and growth.

I painted this knot brown. I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first - but I love the way one segment of the knot is turning green. Like Stephen's name is seeping into the knot. Fusing with it. Uniting.
