TheIndigoKnot is me pushing boundaries. I love this bolder design with vibrant colours. I love how the indigo coloured star pops out from the center of the knot.

I really enjoyed working this one out.

A good example of the use of negative space. Negative space being the white of the paper. It would not look the same if I left the outer circle (that is now brown) white.

This star is one line that crosses itself 15 times.

How I use the negative space totally changes the whole character of a knot.

I love how one design leads to another.

I was christened David. I always loved the Star of David knot.

Daibhidh [Dive-ee] is
Scotts Gaelic for David.

This was a gift for my dad’s 70th Birthday.

It’s a special knot to me. I love the yellow 3-petaled trefoil in the middle. It pleases me deeply. I hope you like it too.
