Harriet is Avery’s twin sister. They live near my elderly mum in Northern Ireland. They always go out of their way to look after her.

Each kid in the family had knots from the same family of knots - so they all look similar but each knot is unique. Just like the sisters themselves: So similar and intrinsically unique.

I love the colours here and how her name is tucked neatly into one corner. I also really like how the letters are almost the same colour as the knot. Hiding them in a way.

Looking more closely at these Knots as I make this site - I find a refreshed appreciation for them.
