I’ve lived all over the over the place. Bute Street in Kemptown, Brighton was one of the funnest.

A hip old Victorian seaside town with amusements and a pier. My parents ran a seaside hotel there in the early 70s. On the sunny south coast of England, 2 hours south of London.

In the movie Quadrophenia [TheWho] - all the Mods fought running battles with the rockers on the beach - in Brighton.

I was young free and working as a barman in the Old Vic - a Ska Pub. I saw Bad Manners and The Selector play there.

Bute Street was the first place I drew a Celtic Knot.
