Back in the day in dirty auld Dublin
We got our scratch money [unemployment] on Thursdays
Friday first thing was food shopping in the Jervis Center
On the way back home I’d buy candles and
I’d pass by the grand Smithfield Flower Market
Founded in 1892!

They had the best Tulips!
So started a tradition.

It’s Friday - Flowers day!
