A knot like this is much harder to understand due to its complexity. For instance - how many different lines are being used to create the knot?

It looks like one line to me but if you untangle it you will discover two lines. Each the opposite of the other - that combine to make the whole.

Another complex Star Knot - how many lines? Actually the main line that constructs the knot is only one line - but it has eight circles entwined too.

I had to count this knot several times to work out how many crossings there are. Grrrr.

It is actually two stars layered together. Each with 10 petals.

This is TheHeartKnot - an early favourite of mine. I imagined the boiling rolling waters of the Irish Sea.

A much simpler knot.
One line.
An infinity knot.
With 8 petals.

The Lee is the river that
runs through Cork City.

This BowKnot looks like a different kind of knot. Not an infinite knot. It’s made up of seven segments. Each looks like two nestled lines - but the line switches sides making each segment one line - not two.

Using a bolder non-traditional Celtic line, this MoonKnot plays with off-center circles.

TheMoonKnot

TheMoonKnot pushes the boundaries of Celtic knots away from the traditional. It has a bold semi-traditional irregular angular-lined inner band - with a wholly untraditional bold knot dominating the outer shell of the knot.

The knot feels like the moon to me.
