Ballyholm is a beach near my parents' home in Northern Ireland. It sits on the Belfast Channel leading to the industrial port of Belfast. Every day you see the ferry leave for England. Many other huge cargo ships can be seen toing and froing.
The RMS Titanic was built in Belfast along with several other great ocean liners [Olympic, Britannic & Nomadic]. Belfast dockyard was heavily bombed by the Germans in WW2. The shipyard had some of the biggest dry docks in Europe at the time.
